Stevenson Learning Skills Now Has a Facebook Page
Check in over the summer
We have recently set up a page on Facebook to make it easier to share information with our friends and customers. If you use Facebook now and want to view our page, type in "Stevenson Learning Skills," "stevensonlearning" or any similar combination on the Facebook search bar. If you are not a Facebook member, you can still view the page by simply typing "facebook.com/stevensonlearning" from your browser. As a Facebook user, you can stay in touch with us by going to our page and hitting the thumbs up to "like" us. You will get our messages when we post, and you can post responses. If you are not a Facebook user, you can view our postings by going to the page, but you won't be able to post messages in response unless you join.
Of course, our most common use of Facebook will be to send brief pieces of news - like workshops, new products, etc. - to our friends. However, we also want to take advantage of the discussion section. Hopefully Stevenson teachers can share ideas with each other, as well as with us. Right now there is only one discussion topic in the discussions section - "anything." Please start posting and we will break the discussion into relevant categories. We can easily imagine discussions on technology and Stevenson, on the ongoing issues about assessments and progress monitoring, about adjusting the program for different kinds of students, etc.
So when you are keeping up with your friends on line this summer, drop by our page from time to time. We can discuss educational issues in a more relaxed way than we all do when school is in session.
