The following training or information sessions are all open to the public. They are either sponsored by Stevenson Learning Skills or are part of courses, conferences or conventions that anyone may attend. Contact Stevenson Learning Skills at 1-800-343-1211 if you would like more detailed information about locations or registration. (Other training sessions are arranged by specific school systems, agencies or cooperatives and are intended primarily for the people associated with the sponsoring organization. Those sessions are listed separately below.)

Oct. 8, 2008, Charlotte, NC - Free introductory workshop on the Beginning level of the Stevenson Reading Program. Register through Stevenson Learning Skills. Space is limited.

Oct. 9-10, 2008 LDAT Conference, Austin, TX - An overview of the Stevenson Language Skills Program will be given on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008. Stevenson Learning Skills will be exhibiting each day with a consultant available to answer questions. To register, call 512-458-8234; (800) 604-7500 (in Texas only).

Oct. 15, 2008 Hollywood, FL - Two free sessions on the Stevenson Reading Program. The morning session will be an introductory session on the Beginning Level of the program and the afternoon session will be focused on the most recent developments and an opportunity for support for Stevenson teachers and administrators. The afternoon workshop is designed for teachers and administrators using Stevenson.

Oct. 22, 2008 Manchester, NH - Free afternoon introductory session on the Stevenson Reading Program. Registration is required through Stevenson Learning Skills. Space is limited.

Oct. 23, 2008, Toms River, NJ - Georgiana Wood, an experienced Stevenson teacher, will be presenting a five-hour course on the Beginning Level of The Stevenson Language Skills Program in NJ. This is an intensive class previously given at Brookdale Community College. Register through Stevenson Learning Skills. Professional Development Hours provided. Space is limited!

Oct. 29, 2008 Columbus, OH - Dr. Tom Diebold is presenting a full-day workshop on the Beginning Green Level of the Stevenson Reading Progam. Please register through Stevenson Learning Skills. Space is limited.
